Oxford Technologies – website now live

We’re pleased to announce that www.oxfordtechnologies.co.uk is live. Oxford Technologies is a remote handling engineering company specialising in applications like nuclear fission decommissioning, nuclear fusion, and high energy physics experiments.

Growing into new markets and pursuing new collaborations, Oxford Technologies commissioned mark-making* to create a new brand identity, and design, write, and build a new website. The new identity and website work hard through design, functionality and copy to capture both current capabilities and visions for the future at Oxford Technologies limited.

Once summed up by a certain mark-maker as ‘putting robots in reactors’, remote handling engineering isn’t as straightforward as that catchy phrase makes it sound. It does involve robotics, but not robots per se. Oxford Technologies engineers make it possible for experiments to run and operations to continue in some of the harshest, most hazardous environments known to man.

This is one of the more unusual projects we’ve been working on recently, and it’s been fascinating for the team involved. Working with people from across the business in all kinds of role, we’ve learned more than we ever thought we could about the fission decommissioning sector, the potential of fusion energy production, reducing the half-life of used uranium rods, and how to protect electronics from getting fried by radiation.

All in a day’s work, here at mm* towers.
