As a Worldwide Olympic Partner, SAMSUNG is hosting a corporate hospitality programme for the duration of the London 2012 Games. For this period, the Landmark Hotel will become the SAMSUNG HQ, hosting all guests and home to the SAMSUNG Hospitality Lounge.
Appointed by Sportsworld DMS, mark-making* was tasked with bringing the SAMSUNG brand to life in the hospitality lounge and throughout various other parts of the hotel, from the initial creative concepts to overseeing the final installation.
At every stage careful consideration of the implications of brand expression within a grade 1 listed building was taken, with innovative solutions required to ensure SAMSUNG maximised their visual presence.
Going beyond design, mark-making* took the lead on the logistical planning and management of the lounge production and build, including sourcing lounge furnishings, to the development and build of bespoke furniture.
Whilst the project may not have been on the scale of a Danny Boyle epic, painstaking attention to detail has ensured the end result delivered the necessary wow factor.
