Downhill mountain bike enthusiast Matt and ex-triathlete (that’s fatherhood for you) Ali experienced their first taste of off-road duathlon at the stunning Cirencester Park. For the uninitiated, that’s run-bike-run, with no tarmac in sight.

It was cold, wet and to be fair, a bit miserable, mainly due to the fact both competitors failed to wear glasses on the bike section. Would we do it again? No question.
