Commended in the Drum Marketing Awards 2014

A small delegation of mark-makers headed down to the Marriott Grosvenor Square last Thursday, and sat with bated breath to hear the results of the Drum Marketing Awards 2014. We were not disappointed.
We are thrilled to announce that our work for Saffron For Intermediaries, the broker channel of Saffron Building Society, received a commendation in the Re-brand/Re-launch Strategy of the Year category.
The competition was fierce, and a little bit glamourous, too. In our category, we faced campaigns from brand such as ITV, English Heritage and Lloyds Bank. You can see the full list of this year’s nominations, commendations and winners here.
The Drum Marketing Awards have grown to becomes a major industry event, assessed by selection of big-name marketers. To be nominated was an achievement in itself and receiving a commendation is the icing on the cake – there was certainly a celebratory mood in the office on Friday!
The Work
The Saffron For Intermediaries campaign involved the definition of a new product range, and a push to really differentiate the brand in the eyes of brokers.
A standalone logo and strapline, and a broker-facing website in addition to Saffron Building Society’s online presence, were supported by an integrated launch campaign. Saffron For Intermediaries spread the word about its new offering through email, online and press advertising, and an intermediary-specific product guide.
