What a Buzz!
We’ve had some exciting news: our content strategy for Woodhouse (a Marshalls specialist business, designers of street furniture, lighting, and signage), has led to a mark-making* nomination for Best Blog at the Social Buzz Awards!
We are absolutely thrilled to be the only finalists from outside London in a category that houses some not insignificant competition, especially amidst growing emphasis on content marketing within the industry.
Since 2012 mark-making* has managed Woodhouse’s content and distribution strategy, as well as creating articles to sit alongside material produced in-house. The activity is part of the plan to achieve our broader goals of establishing Woodhouse as a thought-leader, educator and publisher in the architecture and urban design industries.
We have really enjoyed collaborating with the Woodhouse team, sharing our digital and content knowledge and gaining unique insights into their industry. In creating the content, we have explored a huge range of new subjects, and in some cases these have even become genuine interests.
This year, Woodhouse’s social media efforts were recognised with a place in the #Ecobuild100, and now it’s great to see that the content underpinning the larger campaign has been recognised in turn.
Category winners will be announced at the Social Buzz Awards dinner on the 27th November. Whatever happens there, we are over the moon to have got this far in such a competitive field, and to have gained recognition for Woodhouse’s blog as one of the best blogs of 2014!
